Tour Price Includes:
All hotel accommodations, all sightseeing as outlined in itinerary, plus toll and admission charges, and tips to maids and bellmen. Not included are meals and drinks (unless otherwise stated), snacks, personal purchases, room service, telephone calls and other tips.
Accommodations:
The hotels used on all tours are among the finest available. They have been chosen for their comfort, location, service and most importantly, for their compatibility with the particular tour. All of the hotels used are rated deluxe or first class except for those tours in which standard category hotels are featured. The hotels vary in style from traditional and colonial to modern. The right to substitute hotels is reserved should conditions arise that demand it.
Tour Conductor:
A tour conductor accompanies you while traveling by motor coach. Your tour conductor is there to serve and assist you in every way possible. All of the conductors are experienced and have an excellent knowledge of the history, geography and the life styles of the areas you’ll visit. N addition to your tour conductor, there is, of course, a licensed professional driver. A gratuity to your Tour Conductor and to your Driver is customary at the conclusion of your tour to show your appreciation for their services.
Hotel Service Charges and Taxes:
All hotels charge a local added tax, and they also charge “service charges” to cover gratuities (tips) to much of their staff. This is all included in your tour cost. So at checkout time, your have only to pay for any extras you may have ordered, such as telephone calls, laundry, drinks etc. (While tips to chambermaids are included, you might want to leave a modest extra tip if the service has been exceptional. It’s up to you.) |
Transportation by Coach:
On all tours, you’ll travel on air-conditioned coaches, equipped with lavatory, soft upholstery, reclining seats, plenty of legroom, and public address system. Before each trip departs, a thorough maintenance is performed. During the tour, regular maintenance is carried out by the drivers; each is an experienced professional.
Travel Notes:
Baggage is limited to 1 piece per person, no including small carry-on bags. Note: Carry-ons must be briefcase or cosmetic size and be able to fit in the overhead rack. There will be no smoking aboard the bus. All tours make occasional stops for picture taking and smoking. Seating will be rotated. There are no exceptions. No open liquor on motor coach. Do yourself a favor: Please leave Aunt Martha’s ring and Uncle George’s gold watch at home. Valuables have no place on any type of tour and will only cause you worry.

Each tour offered is described in detail so that you know what to expect for your money. In order to insure that every tour is delivered as it is listed, Sanborn Tours maintains a steady quality control system. As a double check, we ask you, the customer, to evaluate your tour by means of a questionnaire. The comments and suggestions also contribute to improvements that make Sanborn Tours the best on the market.
Sightseeing Tours As Per Itinerary:
These tours are conduced by your conductor, and in may instances by local guides. The tours are designed to provide a basic orientation of the locale, and features the most noted landmarks, districts or other points of interest. Tours are done by motor coach, with stops for visits to museums etc. In some locations, we take short walking tours. All entrance fees in conjunction with scheduled sightseeing tours are included in the tour price.
